If I were to remember all d things you said,
Sorrow would engulf me,
Such memories of dread,
But it cannot be forgotten,
The ways in which I was misled
When we danced beneath the dew drops,
Wanting, needing to be wed,
Romantic proposal was a reason to lie in bed,
Now I dust fragments of love,
That which is now long dead
I dive into a sea of
diffidence,
Searching for my head,
Destroying
evidence of you
While I cry over what I once read,
Monster who emerged from a closet,
You never meant a word you said…
