Opinion: The poor state of Nigeria's health care

Health care delivery in the world has witnessed a tremendous change since the advent of the nineteenth century, professionalism and division of labor has played a vital role in ensuring that healthcare delivery achieves the desired results of improvement in the overall health indices, this is the case in countries that take the health care of its citizens of some importance for which I beg to exempt my country Nigeria with is still battling with communicable diseases and is rated 51 0ut of 53 african countries in terms of provision of health services. When Nigerians need to see a doctor, many get on a plane instead of going to the local hospital.

The medical exodus is hurting Nigeria's health service. Doctors say facilities need to be improved for Nigerians to have confidence in the medical services on offer.
